The Albany River Rats are teaming up with Broadway Joe's for a "Howling for Hope" night to support Pancreatic cancer and the Lustgarten Foundation. The event is being done in memory of Ed Wolff and will take place at Broadway Joe's on January 22nd, It will feature team trivia at 5:30 PM, and Karaoke at 7:30 PM, as well as a 50/50. Discount River Rat game tickets for the River Rats game on January 22nd will be available starting January 11th. For complete information, see the flyer. With the cooperation of everyone involved, the idea of having a night of Laser Tag with our players has gone from a thought to a reality. The event will take place on Monday February 8th from 5 to 9 PM at Zero Gravity's facilities at 1240 Central Avenue in Albany. The cost will be $15.00 per person and will include two games of Laser Tag, two slices of pizza and a soda. Those purchasing tickets in advance will also receive a free flex ticket to a future River Rats game. Due to a four hour time limit (from 5 to 9 PM) there will be a limit of 100 tickets sold. Ticket sales will start tonight and will continue until 100 tickets are sold. For tickets, see Sean at the Special Events table behind Section 109. Our bus trip to Glens Falls on January 23rd is official and payment ($27.00) must be made by January 16th. We have also now confirmed the Manchester/Portland trip and it will go in February 27th and 28th. Deposits are now being collected at the Booster Club table behind Section 107.. Seats are available on both of these buses. Stop at the club table for further information Poor response continues for the Foxwoods and Binghamton trips and here are still plenty of seats for the two remaining Glens Falls trips. Keep in mind that the Bowlathon is quickly approaching (January 24th) and the Ratical Raffle is now in full swing. Although coupon book sales officially ended December 31st, the club still has 18 books left. See me if you are interested. Lastly, The club has a Ronald McDonald House 08-09 Special Jersey which has been autographed by the team. This jersey is being raffled off during January and the drawing wail be February 3rd. The annual Season Ticket raffle will begin in February. Our General Meetings will be held at Pagliacci’s Hideaway.
