With no word from the Times Union Center or any possible team coming into the arena for the coming season, we remain in limbo waiting for some news. Once we know what the future holds for the club, I will schedule a meeting. Construction of the “Love Builds“ playhouse will take place on June 19th and 20th (if necessary).The building site will be the GNH Lumber yard in Greenville, as part of their “Customer Appreciation Weekend“. Starting time on the 19th will be at 8:30 AM. Please contact Sean or I if you plan tp participate and bring any hand tools (hammers, saws, levels, etc.) you may have. The Annual Summer Picnic has been set for July 25th and we will be moving back to the Hudson Shores Park in Watervliet.The gathering will start at noon with the food “off the grill” planned for one o’clock. The Booster Club will provide the grilled food and soda and the members are asked to each bring a dish to share. We have several of the scrapbooks that were made for the players. Jody and Kathy did a great jpb and if you would like a copy, the cost is $25.00. Place your order with me or Kathy Butler and we will deliver the book to you at the picnic or make other arrangements for you to get the book. We still have a few Booster Club mugs for sale. These are a 20 ounce mug with the booster club logo in four colors on the side of the mug. Special pricing is planned for mugs purchased at the picnic. If you are headed for the convention in September, keep in mind that full payment must be made to Barbara Riscavage by June 15st. This payment must be on time.
